Dancing in couple and certainly salsa has some very strong ’social’ qualities. It brings people together (literally), makes them having a good time together. It can break the ice between colleagues, make them look at one another in another way, which can have positive effects when everyone’s ‘back at work’ …
We also have to consider that dancing salsa shouldn’t really be all that complicated. You’ll see that from the very first moments you’ll enjoy it: the basic steps are not very complicated and there’s this very ‘positive’ music that’ll help you relax and have a good time!
For all those reasons, it’s a really good idea to organize an event with salsa initiation for your company. Many formulas are possible: if your company has a space for it we can come and give the initiation at your place. Many things can be discussed to suit your specific needs: the duration of the initiation, the dance styles (we can also present some bachata or some other Latin dance style), the number of instructors (depending for instance on the number of participants), … Our initiations always end with some ‘free dancing’ in which the participants can test what they’ve just learned (the instructors of course are there to help out if needed).
If you prefer we can take care of the space or dance hall where the event will take place. We can also propose more: we can organize for your company a complete ‘package’: an initiation salsa followed by a dinner in the same resort and a party!
In other words, due to our experience ‘on the field’ with the different aspects of organizing and teaching, we can adapt to about all your needs and organize your companies’ event for you!
As is also explained in the page dedicated to ‘rueda’ on this website, having a ‘rueda’ is an excellent idea for a team building day or weekend. A very simple form of salsa in which everyone will get to dance with everyone, what’s better to get to know each other in a dancing way?
