Going out

Places in Leuven (and elsewhere) to go out and have fun:
- On Thursdays, the place to be is El Peligroso (Sint-Jacobsmarkt). The floor isn’t very good, you’ll sweat like hell, but there’s always lots of people and a nice atmosphere. Free entrance. El Peligroso is easy to reach (5-10min walk from city hall).

- On Fridays, there’s again El Peligroso .

- Every evening, there’s the Villa Ernesto (Vismarkt), it is sometimes possible to dance although this is more of a Cuban bar to sit and drink and chat …

- On Fridays there are the parties at Biberium (in Brussels), the so called ‘Mambo nights’ (check out www.salsasunrise.com). Entrance 5 euro.

- Once a  month, LeuvenSalsa! will organize the “LeuvenSalsa! parties in Sportoase” parties, check out the ‘LeuvenSalsa! parties in Sportoase’ topic on this site. Entrance 10 euro (8 euro in presale).

- First and last Saturday of the month there are the parties in Ritmo Latino (Genk), check out their website for more info (www.ritmo-latino.be)

- Every Sunday there are salsa parties in Rumba & Co (Oude Markt, Leuven), free entrance.

- Every Sunday evening there are also the parties in La Tentation near the Bourse in Brussels. Check out www.latentation.be. Entrance 6 euro.

This is of course only a selection, let us know if you ‘bump’ into other nice locations in or out of Leuven …

  1. Hi, just to say that Kosmopol has ended its salsa activities, there will be no more salsa parties on Fridays over there.

    • Hi,
Ik heb een vraag… Rumba @ Co – is dat een danshaal of een cafe? Zijn daar iedere zondag nog altijd parties? Waar precise aan de Oude markt en vanaf hoelaat?
      Dank u
      Sasha

      • De Rumba is in de Kiekenstraat. Het is een discotheekje. De feestjes zijn vanaf 21.30u.
